How to get multimedia messages and get on Internet without Blackberry Pearl package?

Is there anyway to get on the Internet or multimedia messages without having to pay the 30 extra per month. I don't have the money to pay for it, and it would be a useless investment because i don't do it that often. I would rather just pay per time i get a mm message or per time i get on the net. Any help, hints, tips, or suggestions?

1. Without a BlackBerry data plan the MMS messaging won't work. If you are on T-Mobile you can add a package called the BlackBerry Feature Enabler that will allow you to send MMS messages without having a data plan. You only have to have a messaging plan with them. As for the Internet, if you can somehow get a hold of the .alx and .cod files for Opera Mini you can install that browser to your BlackBerry and use that for the Internet. You would just have to configure your TCP APN setting by going to Options > Advanced Options > TCP
